Olin Corporation is a leading vertically integrated global manufacturer and distributor of chemical products and a leading US manufacturer of ammunition. The chemical products produced include chlorine and caustic soda, vinyls, epoxies, chlorinated organics, bleach and hydrochloric acid. Winchester’s principal manufacturing facilities produce and distribute sporting ammunition, law enforcement ammunition, reloading components, small caliber military ammunition and components, and industrial cartridges.

Olin began in 1892 as a small blasting powder supplier in East Alton, Illinois, and expanded with the acquisition of Mathieson Chemical Corporation. Olin now encompasses several complementary business units, including Olin Chlor Alkali Products & Vinyls and Olin Epoxy. In 1931, Olin brought Winchester, the leading manufacturer of ammunition in the United States, into the fold. Collectively, these business segments operate in more than 20 countries with customers in nearly 100 countries across the globe.

Epoxy resins: Olin supplies a wide variety of epoxy resins while being the only back integrated domestic supplier in the US. Olin also has small batch capabilities and the ability to supply customer specific blends. Olin also supplies a full range of solid epoxy resins.

Curing agents: If you’re making epoxy systems, you’re using curing agents. Olin supplies aliphatic amine, cylcloaliphatic and waterborne curing agents that can be used in wide variety of applications, including low temperature and low emission coatings.

Chlorinated organics: CBS provides all grades of methylene chloride, trichloroethylene and perchloroethylene throughout North America via multiple facilities located in every region. We can provide these products in drums, stainless-steel totes, short bulk loads, full bulk tankers and even railcars.

Chlor-Alkali: Olin Chlor Alkali Products and Vinyls is a leading North American manufacturer of chlorine, caustic soda, industrial bleach, hydrochloric acid, potassium hydroxide, hydrogen and related products. These basic chemicals are important building blocks for plastics, pulp and paper products, soaps and detergents, and many other products. They also play an important role in municipal drinking water and wastewater treatment.
